Alicia McInnes
Alicia produces a wide range of contemporary jewellery designs and sculptural glass pieces from her Glasgow studio, which she started in 2000 with three of her friends. She also undertakes glass repair and restorations for private, corporate and ecclesiastical clients.
She is strongly influenced by Spanish architecture and the Mediterranean culture, where she trained at the Barcelona Glass Centre and later worked for one of Spain’s foremost glass artists José Castrillo.
Some of Alicia's most popular work is her range of fused jewellery using dichroic glass. The range includes glass heart pendants, square pendants and chunky rings on silver mounts. She continues to develop this range with earrings, bracelets and brooches designed to compliment her other items.
